Lot 2 – Reclamation

The Kuwait Petroleum ex-refinery in Naple is a Site of National Interest. The joint-venture made up by Astaldi-Arcadis was awarded for the reclamation of the Lot 2 of the ex-refinery. The project is aimed at the environmental recovery of an area with an extension of 18 hectares, for the subsequent urbanistic development.
During the tendering phase, the joint venture has carried out a reclamation project based on dewatering and subsequent earth removals. GDP-GEOMIN’s activity consisted in performing various groundwater models aimed at the design of the dewatering systems.
