Study of the Natural Background Values

The new High Speed/High Capacity Turin-Lyon Railway Line foresees the realization of several tens of kilometres of underground works and open-air works. The natural muck materials derived by the excavation works will be delivered in various dump sites.
An Exploitation Plan will be edited in the context of the Executive Project. For this purpose, TELT has anticipated this phase by proceeding to the assessment and comparison of the Natural Background Values of the materials coming from the muck and those that naturally occur below the dump sites. GDP-GEOMIN supported this study by defining the investigation and analytical procedures required for the assessment.
