Underground extraction of high purity limestone

The deposit exploited by the “Martina” quarry is a limestone characterized by high purity and whiteness, suitable for a variety of high-class products, in particular in the agricultural, zootechnical, thermo-acoustic industry, chemical, iron, steel, building and cement industry.
Since 2000 the deposit is exclusively exploited underground with both the rooms-and-pillars and sublevel stoping methods.
