GDP-GEOMIN will attend AFTES Congress “Underground, a space for innovation”, that will be held in Paris from 6 to 8 September 2021. In the frame of the thematic session devoted to the designing innovations in the field of the underground works, a presentation entitled “Hydraulic modelling of a permeable fault under high overburden and practical consequences for a closed TBM” will be carried out. The presentation will focus on the results of a study that has been carried out to compare the effects of different drainages solutions carried forward to the excavation front in order to decrease the hydraulic pressures, especially in those contexts where high-permeability formations are forecasted head the excavation.
