GDP-GEOMIN will attend the 16th IACMAG Congress on “Challanges and Innovations in Geomechanics”, that will be held in Turin from 5 to 8 May 2021. In the frame of the thematic session devoted to reliability and risk analysis, a presentation entitled “The geological model reliability in tunnelling and its influence on the geomechanical model: a quantification attempt” will be carried out. The presentation will focus on the principles of the Geological Model Rating (GMR) method, which can be applied to evaluate the degree of reliability of geological forecasts in tunnel design.
